The visit to the ship will mark the culmination of an interdisciplinary schools’ programme, involving science, German, art and other subjects. Schools signing up for the programme will be provided with special “log books” for the children and teaching materials, that help teachers prepare pupils for their visit to the ship, and later with follow-up work, with activities that take up six lessons in all.
