In Paris: “Memories of the future” from the Olbricht Collection

22.10.2011 to 15.01.2012

Alongside Antoine de Galbert’s exhibition at me Collectors Room “My Paris – Collection Antoine de Galbert”, parts of the Olbricht Collection will be on show in Paris.
For now more than seven years, French collector Antoine de Galbert is hosting exhibitions at his “la maison rouge”, where parts of the Olbricht Collection will be displayed in “Memories of the future“.
Objects of the Wunderkammer Olbricht (cabinet of curiosities), works by old masters (Dürer, Callot, Schongauer et al.) as well as contemporary art works illustrate existential themes such as vanity, death, religious faith and eros.
We are glad to invite you to view the exhibition in Paris with a multiplicity of paintings (Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Daniel Richter, Franz Gertsch, John Currin et al.), installations and sculptures (Jake and Dinos Chapman, Giampaolo Bertozzi and Stefano Casoni, Marc Quinn et al.) and historical as well as contemporary photographs (Robert Capa, Cindy Sherman et al.).
