Lebenslust & Totentanz at Kunsthalle Krems

From the 18th of June to the 07th of November 2010 the exhibition “Lebenslust und Totentanz” in the Kunsthalle Krems will present 250 works from the Olbricht Collection, which are associatively linked in their themes and motives.

Their existential themes are those concerning human life such as religion, sexuality, love, beauty, transience and death. A fascinating perspective arises and allows for a dialogue between old and new, between exhibits from the 16th, 17th and 18th Century up to contemporary works from the 20th and 21st Century.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with articles by Burghart Schmidt, Hans-Peter Wipplinger et al. which can be purchased in our museum shop in the me Collectors Room Berlin for 26,50€.
