On the occasion of the Humboldt Year the Federal Republic of Germany and the Federal Ministry of Finances are publishing the special stamp “250 years Alexander von Humboldt”. On Thursday 05.09. from noon until 4 p.m. a special post office will be installed at me Collectors Room Berlin where the first edition of the special stamp “Alexander von Humboldt” can be acquired.
In addition the catalogue “Alexander von Humboldt – Worldwide stamps” by Peter Korneffel will be launched at midday. The catalogue with 111 pages, around 150 colour illustrations and texts by Peter Korneffel and Vanesa Heilig is available in our me Shop for 22,90€.
