Sparkling Treasures and Jingling Curiosities, 29.11.2013 – 28.04.2013

Schoolchildren from our partner school, the Gustav-Falke-Schule, have put together an audio guide for the Wunderkammer with interesting stories and music. The audio guide was produced in conjunction with the musician Juliane Tief and art historian Sabine Lata. It is available free of charge for children (deposit required) at the admissions desk.
Parallel to this the exhibition “Sparkling treasures and jingling curiosities”  is on display in the Lounge with sculptures, drawings, and texts produced by children from the Gustav-Falke school together with artists Zuzanna Skiba and Sabine Fassl. Further information on selected objects can be found on our series of Wundercards designed by Hermann Hülsenberg.

With the current exhibition, the Wunderkammer is presenting spectacular artworks that it has been newly acquired, along with several contemporary works from the Olbricht Collection that center on the theme of the Wunderkammer or historical ‘cabinet of curiosities’.
