From September 2013 to March 2014, me Collectors Room Berlin / Olbricht Foundation will present ‘Schöne Grüsse Thomas Schütte’. The exhibition will shine the spotlight on more than 200 prints by Thomas Schütte from the Olbricht Collection. The showing of his work will also feature objects, sculptures, and artist’s books.
Thomas Olbricht has been an ongoing collector of Schütte’s work since 1999. Among his many works held in the Olbricht Collection is ‘Ganz grosse Geister’ (‘Big Spirits’ 1998–2004), which is on display as a permanent loan in front of the philharmonic hall in Essen.
